Dr. Mike Hinkle

As part of my commitment to dental advances and standards, I am a current member of several well-respected dental associations, including the American Dental Association, the Oklahoma and the Tulsa County Dental Associations, the American Association of Functional Orthodontics, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

I am best known as a family man, active in the Christian community through my church and mission endeavors. Two dental teams I led to Guatemala City, Guatemala have been life changing experiences for me, my family, and the five pre-dental students who helped me provide cosmetic dentistry in a third world country. All five of those students are now applying for admission to dental programs as a result of this experience. My beautiful wife, Becky, and I, married for more than 28 years, have three fantastic children. Roth is 21 years old and starting Baylor Dental School in the Fall of 2004. Gant is a high school senior, also applying to Baylor, and Tara is a freshman. With both my sons entering the dental field, I know my patients will be well taken care of for decades to come!

Dr. Hinkle’s Smile

As a child, I had an accident and broke off my front two teeth. I wore stainless steel crowns for many years. I was called terrible names and hated my smile. Then, an innovative dentist made me my first set of white crowns and my whole life changed.

Now, I love dentistry! I love smiles, but even more, I enjoy a challenge. So to get my smile just perfect, I placed orthodontic brackets on my own teeth and performed orthodontic therapy for over a year to get just the bite and smile I wanted. Then I
placed four white composite fillings on myself. Of course, the easy part following all this was the bleaching. I get wonderful comments on my smile and now know firsthand the satisfaction and confidence of having a great smile. I believe a big, beautiful smile can take you anywhere you want to go!

Joan – Office Manager
Joan came to our practice over two years ago, with 12 previous years of experience with some of the most prestigious dentists in Tulsa. Her gifts are a great sense of humor and a sincere love of people. Combine these with extensive knowledge in all areas of dentistry, and you have a great ambassador of cosmetic dentistry. Joan’s Smile
Joan’s smile was a history of all the offices she had worked in over the past 14 years. When various dentists place crowns made
in different labs, it is virtually impossible
to get a perfectly consistent smile of matching teeth. I was thrilled, therefore, when Joan asked me to make her smile perfect. We placed 14 upper crowns and performed numerous root canals to achieve the smile of her dreams. Six weeks of orthodontic braces to correct lower crowded front teeth came next, and now we are putting the finishing touches on with bleaching, of course!

Kristy – Hygienist
Kristy graduated from the University of Oklahoma, College of Dental Hygiene in 1993. Her work experience began with a progressive periodontist (gum specialist) where she developed an incredible gift for cleaning teeth comfortably. Invariably, our patients are impressed by her thoroughness and caring gentle hands! Kristy joined our team five years ago, and I know you will love her as much as we do.

Gina – Dental / Orthodontic Assistant
Gina has 15 years of experience in cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics with several of Tulsa’s finest dentists. After three years on our team, she has blossomed into a first class dental/orthodontic assistant. Gina’s goal is to keep you comfortable and happy, and her kind and compassionate heart are a joy to everyone she helps.

Mae – Chairside Assistant
Mae has more than 13 years of experience and has been with our team nearly two years. She was born and raised in the Philippines and blessed to attend two years of dental school before marrying an American serviceman and moving to Tulsa. Mae’s experiences and knowledge of cosmetic dentistry are extraordinary, and you cannot help but love her spirit and enthusiasm.

Becca comes to our team with over nine years of fantastic computer and cosmetic dental experience.
